Ahhh, Monday again. I’m so sad to see the weekend come to an end. We had family and friends visiting from out of town, so it was a particularly good one. Lots & lots of eating out, grandparents as babysitters (off to the bar we go!), tailgating, and my first college football game in years – we got to watch our Utes beat the Huskies! Coldest night of my life, but totally worth it.
On Sunday morning, we took a break from the craziness & spent some time with our little family. We went out for coffee & donuts (oh dear…just thinking about the mass quantity of calories consumed this weekend!), and then headed out for a walk in our neighborhood park. JJ Cole recently reached out to me to test out the Original Bundleme with Winnie, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.
The JJ Cole Original Bundleme is a super cozy insert for strollers that has a plush inner faux sherling and soft thermaplush cover. Let me tell you, it is 100% Winnie approved. This girl was out the moment we snuggled her in, and totally content for the hour we were out together. I never had a stroller insert with Mae, and now I’m not sure how I did it without one. Her blankets were always falling off, getting caught under the wheels, or getting kicked off of her feet. This is so much easier! Life changing, really.
A few things I love about the JJ Cole Original Bundleme:
- Incredibly cozy, much more so than a blanket
- The top can be easily removed with a zipper, making temperature control easy
- Machine washable, a necessity with baby products
- Easy to use – there are slots & velcro in the back making it easy to attach to your stroller
- One of the more affordable options!
I absolutely love this product and would highly recommend it to you guys! In fact, I’m planning to add it to my list of must-haves for baby’s first year. It really is that great!
The JJ Cole Original Bundleme is available for both infants (up to 12 months) & toddlers (12 months & up), both on sale in select colors including pink. The matching hat is here.
*For those of you who have concerns about the safety of using the Bundleme in car seats, here’s what I know. JJ Cole carseat products undergo federal crash testing and are compliant with the Restraint System Integrity & Occupant Excursion portions of the FMVSS-213 test. However, some car seat experts find these types of products unsafe as they put a fluffy layer between the baby and the car seat causing the car seat to lose some of its functionality in a crash (the extra layer will compress during an accident and increase the slack of the car seat straps). This goes for coats & thick clothing as well. You can decide what works best for you & your family. It doesn’t get too incredibly cold here in Seattle, so we plan to just use ours in the stroller.
Thank you to JJ Cole for sending us the Original BundleMe + Shearling Baby Hat for this review. All opinions are entirely my own.
