Eight other colors (including sand and gray) are just $49.99! I track the price of this pail diaper pail pretty closely and I’ve never seen it drop much below 20%, so I’m slightly dying over this. Diaper pails are not the most exciting purchase of all time, so who wouldn’t love a good deal on one?
We’ve owned the Ubbi Steep Diaper Pail since Mae was a baby and I’ve been super happy with it! I confess that I mostly picked it because I love the slim modern design, but my favorite feature is that it’s made out of stainless steel. Most diaper pails are made out of plastic, which absorbs smells over time that are really hard to remove. Stainless steel cuts down significantly on this. I also love that the Ubbi takes regular 13 gallon trash bags. This means you don’t have to remember to order any special diaper pail bags that so many other brands require and it’ll save you some money! (Ubbi does sell plastic bag liners that have high reviews if you’d rather go that route.)
We’ve been happy with how the Ubbi diaper pail contains smell, but be sure to regularly empty it! No matter how well a diaper pail works, this is the best way to prevent it from smelling over time. I also buy odor-absorbing trash bags to help out.
For cloth diapering parents, I hear the Ubbi diaper pail is a good choice! They sell their own cloth diaper pail liners, but select other brands will work as well.
