One of our best purchases for Mae has been her Micro Kickboard Scooter. This has been her favorite outdoor toy for two years now. I know they aren’t the cheapest scooter, but they are hands-down the BEST (check out the reviews)! They have smooth-gliding wheels to provide a quiet and smooth ride, plus they’re stable thanks to the three-wheel design. Unfortunately they rarely go on sale, but right now you can get one for up to 25% off for the holidays!
There are four styles of scooters available for toddlers. The first two are their original styles – the Mini Original Scooter (25% off) and the Mini Deluxe Scooter (20% off). These ones have a T-bar and fit children from 2-5. Like all their Mini scooters, they have a lean-to-steer design so children use their body weight to turn teaching them balance and coordination. (The Mini Deluxe is similar to the Mini Original but it also has an adjustable T-bar accommodating a wider range of heights and fun new colors with matching anodized T-bars.)
There’s also the Mini 3in1 Deluxe Scooter that offers 3 stages of riding for children from age 1 to 5. It starts out as a ride-on with two seat heights, then converts to a stand-on scooter with a short O-bar, then finally converts to a classic scooter with T-Bar. And then there’s their newest design, the Mini2Go Deluxe Scooter that fits children from 18 months to 5. It starts out as a ride-on with a pull-out toy drawer, then converts to a stand-on scooter with T-bar.
Micro Kickboard also makes scooters for older kids too – those are the Maxi styles. (Mae is riding an older model of the Mini 3-in-1 in the above pic.)
