I have an Apple Watch Series 1 and absolutely love it! I primarily use it for fitness tracking, sending & receiving text messages, tracking calendar appointments & setting reminders, and of course to find my phone. I like that I can leave my phone in another room so I’m not tempted to check social media, but I still feel connected if someone needs to reach me. The daily fitness tracking also definitely makes me more active throughout the day. Other features of the Apple Watch include accessing and reading email, listening to music Playlists (with wireless headphones), and answering phone calls (if your phone is nearby).
This is the entry-level Apple Watch and is missing some of the features of the newer Series 3. That one GPS tracking which serious runners like to track their runs. The pricier Series 3 also has built-in cellular so you can use the apps, stream music, and take calls without your watch nearby. It also has a brighter display and is faster. But if those features aren’t critical to you and you just want a great day-to-day smartwatch, the Series 1 at this price is definitely the way to go!
